The "Professional Association of Nurses Travelers" is now open for membership. The web site for the association located at http://www.pantravelers.org/ please visit their website and sign up for full memebership in the organisation.
A number of Hospitals are requiring travelers to pass a PBDS or a BKAT test amongst others upon arrival at a contract. Failing the tests has meant that travelers contracts were immediately cancelled even though they had just travelled perhaps thousands of miles to get to the assignment. We need to think carefully before accepting an assignment at one of these hospitals. If you have taken one of these tests please let me know what hospital, where it is and which test was used so that I can pass it on to PanTravelers and it can be added to the database, my email address is below!
